Free combat is an important part of physical education in colleges and universities. However, traditional teaching methods tend to focus on theory and neglect practical application, leading to a lack of enthusiasm and participation from students. In recent years, experiential teaching has been widely used in physical education, providing a more engaging and effective way of learning. This paper explores the application of experiential teaching in free combat courses in colleges and universities, analyzing its advantages and challenges. Through case studies and empirical analysis, the paper provides insights and recommendations for the implementation of experiential teaching in free combat courses.
