With the deepening reform of education in our country, curriculum ideological and political education has gradually received high attention from English teachers in universities, and a series of reform activities have been carried out to enable students to receive better ideological and political guidance while learning English knowledge, stimulate students' intrinsic learning potential, and thereby improve the learning efficiency of college students. Based on the experience of college English teaching and relevant literature, this article provides a detailed description of the foundation and constituent elements of "curriculum ideology" in college English. Based on the research on "curriculum ideology" in college English, this article explores and further improves the path of integrating ideological and political elements into college comprehensive English curriculum teaching in practice, with the aim of cultivating socialist builders and successors with an international perspective.
