The article presents the results of monitoring studies on the sanitary – ecological situation of water bodies and air pollution in the Shchuchinsko-Borovskoy resort area. It was determined an excess of pH, manganese iron and trace amounts of heavy metals’ salts in water bodies. An excess of sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide were registered in the atmospheric air of the resort area was marked by. These changes linked with seasonal increase in the passenger traffic of tourists, leading to the accumulation of emissions and smog formation substances in the environment.
